Terms of use
Elmer is a free, independent price guide to EV charging. When you use the site or the app, these terms apply.
Prices and data
Charging prices come from the operators’ own data and price lists, see where the prices come from. We fetch them several times a day, but prices can change, and data can be wrong or missing. The price at the charger or in the operator’s app always applies. Calculations of annual cost, charging stops and the car’s running costs are estimates to help you compare. They are not an offer.
Navigation and traffic
Always follow the traffic rules and road signs. Do not use your phone while driving. Routes and charging stops are suggestions. Check for yourself that the charger can be used and that the battery will last.
Liability
We do our best to make sure Elmer is correct and works. But we cannot guarantee that the site and the app are always available or free of errors, and we are not liable for losses caused by wrong prices, chargers out of service or calculations that do not hold. This does not apply, however, where mandatory rules of Danish law provide otherwise.
The app
The app is downloaded from the App Store. In addition to these terms, Apple’s standard terms for apps apply (Licensed Application End User License Agreement). Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it.
Rights
Text, design and calculations on Elmer belong to Allan Noer. Data from the operators and from the Danish Road Directorate’s (Vejdirektoratet) National Access Point is used under their licences, typically CC BY 4.0. Maps and addresses come from OpenStreetMap and Apple.
Changes and governing law
We may change these terms. The latest version is always available here. The terms were updated 12 October 2026. Danish law applies.
